The very first thought that comes to mind…………

Ethers feature C-O-C linkage defined by a bond angle of about 104.5°. Yeah yeah, dear old Chemistry. :D

But in TROIKA, the event not only provides a platform for those who love to flaunt their geekiness(as they do in college for the whole year ;)) but also for the mango people to prove their prowess. All that is required is knowledge (which not at all refers to what one has crammed from their books so far). No need to be the book worm or the teachers' eye candy to win this quiz…just knowledge in the fields you choose will do.

So….get ready to face challenge!

TODO EN UNO

The first thought that undoubtedly comes to mind (and surely everyone's) is what does ”todo en Uno” actually mean…!!!

It means ALL IN ONE in Spanish (courtesy Google translator :D).

A quiz with all possible puzzles, codes, logical reasoning……it has all recipes for sending your grey cells tick-tocking all the way!

For people who don’t believe in bookish knowledge, this one event appears appealing for the only prior knowledge required is how to test your mind to its limits!

The rule is simple. You are given the toughest problems and you got one of your simple pens and sharp brains to show how good you are when it comes to every code possible in this whole world…. 

The search for the 'Jack of all Trades' is ON!

 

Meetings...Meetings...Meetings....and a whole lot of fun!!

CORPO meeting for IEEE at 5 pm in TW1GF1…Even those without contacts can come.’, read the inbox of the first years in the corpo team . So finally there was an opportunity for people to build company contacts. The meeting started with Aseem sir highlighting the importance points for the team. Then they were taught the golden rules that the seniors had framed from personal experience. :P

And after some time ..our dear chairman took the 'gyan baantne ki kaksha' upon himself. The meeting ended on the note: ”So, all of you start looking for contacts…we are sure you will find them”. And this time too, more than a few were left wondering, ”karna kya hai???”

A meeting was held on Friday for the TROIKA '12 Publications team members...called by our sweet team head Anantika ma'am. We were basically 'enlightened' about our role during the event...and were also allowed the liberty to freely take digs at our seniors (*Devilish Grin*)... :P

But, we love you dear sirs and ma'ams!!! :D

And where we are concerned, TROIKA is going to see two major publications: the annual magazine 'TRIGGER' containing the details of all events in TROIKA, and the TTT, which is where the happening gossip of all the 'masti' in TROIKA will be contained.

As the fun continues unabated, and everyone is working hard towards a single point agenda of achieving 'FEEL', TrOiKa is the ultimate amalgam of professionalism and AWESOMENESS!! :D

TROIKA - The legacy continues.......

According to our dear facchas, Troika 2012 enthused them with an inexplicable sense of inquisitiveness as to what does the word ‘Troika’ literally meant. On Googling it, a lot of them found that Troika (three horse harnessed carriage) was much bigger than their imagination. When the name itself was full of
grandeur, this technical fest would be something worth going to.

With all technical societies busy in putting up their best show, coming February, January is buzzing with meetings, ideas and notices (asking first years to volunteer in the organising team :p). A first year IEEEian quite feels the onus of making Troika’12 larger than ever when our chairman addresses us as the ones and the only ones who will make Troika grand and exclusive. The wide ranging events are slowly and steadily catching various eye-balls. It feels quite proud when our friends exclaim at the countless events. 

TROIKA has some event for everyone, events are framed to gauge an individual’s creativity (DesignPro) or to challenge a hacker’s wit (Intrusion); to assess a participant’s inventiveness (Junkyard) or to test a programmer’s dexterity (BBB and Envision)…Above are just a few names among more than 13 remarkable events of Troika!!!Setting up our expectations high, eyes full of anticipation and fingers crossed, we hope the first years find their technical fest 'FEEL' as awesome as getting into this college, oops!! University. ;)

As a new year and new semester welcomed the janta, the waves of the upcoming fests captured the imagination of all, and OBVIOUSLY, the wait seems unbearable for TROIKA-Nothing is bigger than this!!

Saara kaam zor-shor se chal raha hai..aur hamare awesome fachhon se le ke hamare stupendofantabulouslyfantastic seniors tak, everyone is burning the midnight oil to make it a GRAND SUCCESS, as always!
Kabhi seniors corporate houses ko patane ke tricks sikhate hain toh
kabhi..juniors fill the environment with the freshness of their
innovative ideas and creative outlook.

So, basically, essentially, ultimately...
TROIKA '12 is gonna be truly, awesomely, superbly, brilliantly, and unexpextedly CRAZZZY!! Watch out for the never-seen-before masti....
